A mix of battalions and regiments. Includes Ukrainian Schutzen formations etc. Pages missing is due to my searching for Police Battalion locations and dates only. Police Regiment 6 Source: Marcus. Thanks!. On April 1, 1938 at the request of the Civil Authorities(?) All Police WatchMasters (Wachtmeister, NCO rank roughly equal to a Sargeant) were transfered out of civil duties in Munich and seconded to PV Karlsbad to form I/Police Battalion II. More info on doc.

Later the same troops were used to form SS-Police-Regiment 6 (May 1, 1941). They were assigned in the east from Feb. 2, 1942 to Dec. 29, 1942 fighting "bandits." April 8, 1943 found them being used in Pol. Begl. Battalion "Steirmark." This was probably the survivors after encounters with the Red Army (Check)
