On using the word "Partisan."A mix of scanned documents. The contents contain Himmlers decree about the word "Partisan" and how it conotates an honorable enemy where as they are fighting "bush bandits" etc. He gives suggested words to use in place of the P word. File also contains complaints about using the P word by a propaganda company late in the war. Source: Hoover Institute

For young enlistees. Document describes jobs available in the SS. What an SS man is, and the rank structure. Of interest for the locations of recuriting stations. Dated 1942 and probably obsolete due to losses in the east by 1943.
Racism an Anti-Semitic Documents
I am not fond of anti-semetic propaganda. These documents posted here attempt to answer the question of "How could have men have done this to other men?" The "Poison Mushroom" is a childs book. Exposure to this and the Hitler Youth teachings would have made an effective impression.

Der Stürmer was a cheap NSDAP newspaper designed for the working class. This example dates from 1931. Notice the cartoon showing how the worker is being exploited by the "Fat Jew." Unemployment, or the fear of being unemployed, was a major current in the European an American workers mindset then.
Publication for SS men about different races and the importance of the "Blood." Basically explains who qualifies as human and who does not.

With these three documents you can broadly summarize the intellectual teachings of National Socialism and what a member of the SS and Polizei was expected to believe and depending on their age: exposed to. Reinforced during training and rewarded in the field for performing most would not have had a problem intellectually with killing. The problem for many was the actual reality.
